Barbara Heck

BARBARA RUCKLE (Heck). Bastian Ruckle married Margaret Embury in Ballingrane, Republic of Ireland. The couple had seven children of which only four lived until adulthood.

The majority of times, the subject has participated in significant events, and had unique thoughts or opinions that are recorded in writing. Barbara Heck however left no documents or correspondence, so the evidence for such matters in relation to the day of her wedding is merely secondary. The documents which were used by Heck to describe the reasons behind her actions and motives have been gone. But she is an iconic figure in the early years of North American Methodism theology. It is the task of the biographer to explain and delineate the mythology that she has created in this instance, as well as to present the actual person enshrined therein.

Barbara Heck, a humble woman from the New World who is credited with the advancement of Methodism across in the United States, has undoubtedly risen to first place in the history of the church in the New World. The reason for this is that the history of Barbara Heck is primarily based on her contribution to the greater cause with which her legacy is forever linked. Barbara Heck played a lucky part in the founding of Methodism and Methodism, both in the United States and Canada. Her name is well-known for the way that successful groups and organizations often celebrate their founding.
