Charisma Carpenter

Charisma Carpenter was born on July 23 on the 23rd of July, 1970. She played Cordelia Chase in the supernatural drama series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-1999) and its spin-off series Angel (1999-2004). She also starred as Kyra in Charmed (2004), Kendall Casablanca's character on Veronica Mars (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell in The Lying Game (2012-2013), and Lacy in The Expendables film series (2010-2012). Carpenter was born in Las Vegas, Nevada,[disputed - discuss] and was the daughter of Christine the bird sanctuary worker, and Don Carpenter, a salesman. Carpenter is of Spanish, French, and German origin (from her maternal grandfather). Carpenter was a student at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas. She was also a member of a music and dance group that performed in the Las Vegas Valley. Carpenter moved with her family to Rosario Beach in Baja California, Mexico, at age 15. She was a student at Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. Carpenter was on a tour to Europe after her graduation. Carpenter returned to San Diego in 1991 and was employed as an aerobics instructor as well as a videostore clerk and property manager. She was a cheerleader for San Diego Chargers football in 1991. The team moved to Los Angeles in 1992. In 1991, Henry Hubbard Jr. was a tyrant who attacked her and two of her male colleagues while swimming in San Diego. He was a former San Diego cop and serial rapist , who tried to intimidate the group with a gunpoint. The two of them, Henry Hubbard Jr. and her companions were shot in the struggle. Both were able to escape. Hubbard was arrested, tried, and convicted and sentenced to 56 years in prison for a series of rapes and robberies. Carpenter took Hubbard his flashlight from the police station on the beach. He had left it on the beach. The flashlight turned out to be an important evidence piece against Hubbard.
