2 Chainz Biography

Tauheed Epps is an American hip-hop and rapper who is more popularly known as 2 Chainz. Georgia native, he started his musical career in hip hop through Playaz Circle, which he formed along with a high school friend. Their debut album, 'Supply and Demand It was a mixed success. Epps released the album 'Based On the T.R.U. Story', his debut studio album. It debuted at the top of the US Billboard 200, it became a tremendous success. It was a huge hit, selling 147,000 copies in its first week! Following the release of the album He hasn't been looking back and has now become one of the top hip-hop artists in the US. He's been nominated in six Grammy categories, and of these one was won by "No Problem." After his bag containing promethazine and marijuana was found in his bag on a flight leaving Los Angeles International Airport, the singer was detained. However, his brushes with the law haven't impacted his popularity in any way. His fourth and current album of studio work, "Pretty Girls Like Trap Music" was released in June 2017. "Based on an R.U. Story', the first studio album by 2 Chainz, can be considered to be his debut album and also the most successful album of his career. It was a big success, and peaked at the top spot in the US Billboard 200, as well as selling 147,000 copies in one week. It ultimately sold 623,000 copies throughout the year. The album was a hit with songs like 'No Lie, 'Birthday Song, and I'm Different. It was also nominated to win  the 'Best Rap Album' award at the 55th Grammy Awards. Many reviews were mixed. 2 Chainz married Kesha Ward in 2013. The couple have three children: Heaven and Harmony. He has a very accomplished career, however, the man is also famous for his mistakes with the law. He's been detained several times for possession of drugs.
